Small gifts create lasting change
The children living at Johannesburg Children's Home receive most of their clothing and daily necessities through generous donations. One very special initiative the home prioritises is providing each child with brand-new underwear. Rather than simply receiving donated items, the children are given the opportunity to visit a shop and choose their own underwear. This small but meaningful experience allows them to make a personal choice, helping to foster dignity, independence, and self-esteem.
To provide this for all 64 children, Johannesburg Children's Home needs approximately 4,000 DKK.
